We are an Indian bar specialising in authentic Karnataka (Bangalore-style) bar bites and small plates. We are looking for a Restaurant Cook with hands-on experience in Bangalore food culture, traditional flavours, and popular Karnataka bar snacks.
The role focuses on accurate preparation of regional dishes, maintaining consistency during service, and supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced bar environment.
Prepare and cook regional Karnataka dishes according to menu standards
Apply correct Karnataka spice blends and masalas to maintain authentic flavours
Cook Bangalore-style bar snacks efficiently during peak service hours
Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and service support
Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
Follow standard operating procedures and comply with health regulations
Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant cooking experience, preferably in Karnataka / Bangalore cuisine
Hands-on experience preparing Bangalore-style food (not limited to general Indian cuisine)
Familiarity with Bangalore food culture, street food, and bar-style dishes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Willingness to follow instructions and work under supervision
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
