Job Summary
Handle guest inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently while supporting smooth restaurant operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries to ensure positive customer experiences
- Report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors for timely resolution
- Perform opening and closing procedures according to restaurant standards to prepare and secure the venue
- Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth operations and enhance guest satisfaction
- Communicate clearly about available products and services to guests
- Assist in other restaurant areas, including answering phone calls to support overall operations
- Manage table reservations and control customer flow to optimize seating and service efficiency
- Supervise assigned sections to ensure quality service and adherence to restaurant policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace and surrounding areas at all times
- Support management by acting as a role model and providing guidance to junior staff
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support restaurant needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service demonstrating a guest-first approach
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, employees, and third parties to uphold the restaurant's brand and reputation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate teamwork and customer engagement
- Positive attitude with a supportive and outgoing personality to contribute to a welcoming environment
