Job Summary
Oversee daily construction site supervision to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations, while coordinating with contractors and reporting progress for a 17-month project starting August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor contractor workmanship to maintain quality standards on site
- Report site progress, defects, and non-conformance issues promptly to the Resident Engineer (RE)
- Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) safety requirements throughout the project
- Participate in site inspections, coordination meetings, and testing activities to support project progress
- Maintain accurate site records including inspection forms, progress reports, and site instructions
- Coordinate with contractors to resolve site issues efficiently and minimize delays
- Assist in verifying completed works and validating progress claims for payment processing
Required competencies and certifications
- Registration with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) as a Civil & Structural Resident Technical Officer (C&S RTO)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects in Singapore
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in steel structural works
