As a Resident Technical Officer (RTO), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervise construction & architecture related works, maintain building quality control and ensure works are carried out in accordance to specification, drawings, instruction etc.
- Supervision of the construction of the structural works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the consultant.
- Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
- Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.
- Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.
- Check on site quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications
- Familiar with PPVC Construction would be advantage
- To carry out all duties required of a RTO under the BCA regulation
Requirements:
- Possess a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) Certificate recognised by BCA, with 2-3 years of local Singapore experience in Civil & Structural and/or Architectural supervision.
- Proven experience in High-Rise Building projects, with strong familiarity in site coordination and regulatory compliance.
- Registered with IES and/or ACES.
