Your impact
We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer to work on the night shift (Monday to Friday between 9 pm and 6 am). The RTO will be based on-site, overseeing the water mains rehabilitation work carried out by the contractor.
Main duties
- Working with the Project Manager and contract management, carrying out site supervision of contractors teams.
- Manage and work closely with contractors carrying out pipe rehabilitation and pipe laying works according to design and requirements.
- Track contractor progress and monitor site safety.
- Site documentation and bookkeeping for reporting purposes.
Here's what you'll need
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess
- Minimum Diploma in civil/environmental engineering
- Registration as a Resident Technical Officer in Singapore.
- At least 5 years of experience in site supervision for civil engineering works, specifically in pipe rehabilitation, pipe jacking, pipe laying and tunnelling works for water infrastructure projects.
- Certification in WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors Manhole (SIC)) will be an added advantage.
