RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all construction activities, particularly works carried out within live plant and operational environments, are executed in strict compliance with safety procedures to safeguard existing operations, personnel, and critical systems.

• Provide full-time site supervision of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works in accordance with BCA regulations, approved design documentation, applicable Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice, and industry best practices.

• Manage and supervise major M&E construction works, including complex services installations such as medical gas systems, HVAC systems, plumbing and sanitary services, as well as specialised lighting and control systems. Conduct regular and thorough inspections to enforce stringent quality control measures, ensuring all workmanship and materials comply with project specifications and functional requirements, particularly for healthcare facilities and cleanroom environments.

  Requirements:

  Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
  Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in supervising M&E installations for local hospital, healthcare, or institutional developments.
  
  Proven hands-on experience in Additions & Alterations (A&A) works within live plant or operational facilities, with a strong understanding of cleanroom construction protocols and specialized M&E system requirements.
  
  Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with technical teams, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
