Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide authoritative on-site supervision to ensure all M&E installations are executed to the highest standard, in strict compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Enforce and monitor stringent safety practices and quality control measures to ensure all on-site activities meet project-specific requirements and statutory health and safety regulations.
  • Meticulously verify that all installation methodologies, work procedures, and materials used are fully aligned with prior consultant and client approvals, ensuring zero deviations that could impact system integrity.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between the consultant team and contractors to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex site installation issues, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and project momentum.
  • Officially witness all MEP systems testing and commissioning activities. Validate performance against design criteria and compile comprehensive reports for the Consultant, detailing test results, progress, and any non-conformities.
  • Execute additional project-related duties, including the meticulous maintenance of site records, progress photography, and contributing to project meeting minutes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and must be a registered Resident Technical Officer (M&E) with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
  • Min 5 Year of Prior experience in Wet lab or Chemical Bio Safety or Hospital Projects will be considered a significant advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) for generating detailed reports, tracking progress, and managing deliverables.
  • Possess a strong, working knowledge of Singapore Building Control Act, relevant SS/CP codes, and all applicable workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements specific to M&E works.
  • Exemplary communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are critical for effective coordination with a diverse range of stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
