Provide authoritative on-site supervision to ensure all M&E installations are executed to the highest standard, in strict compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, and cleanroom protocols.
Enforce and monitor stringent safety practices and quality control measures to ensure all on-site activities meet project-specific requirements and statutory health and safety regulations.
Meticulously verify that all installation methodologies, work procedures, and materials used are fully aligned with prior consultant and client approvals, ensuring zero deviations that could impact system integrity.
Act as the primary technical liaison between the consultant team and contractors to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex site installation issues, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and project momentum.
Officially witness all MEP systems testing and commissioning activities. Validate performance against design criteria and compile comprehensive reports for the Consultant, detailing test results, progress, and any non-conformities.
Execute additional project-related duties, including the meticulous maintenance of site records, progress photography, and contributing to project meeting minutes.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and must be a registered Resident Technical Officer (M&E) with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
Min 5 Year of Prior experience in Wet lab or Chemical Bio Safety or Hospital Projects will be considered a significant advantage.
High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) for generating detailed reports, tracking progress, and managing deliverables.
Possess a strong, working knowledge of Singapore Building Control Act, relevant SS/CP codes, and all applicable workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements specific to M&E works.
Exemplary communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are critical for effective coordination with a diverse range of stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
