RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor site works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements

• Ensure construction works comply with BCA regulations, codes of practice, and project quality standards

• Inspect workmanship and materials used on site

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site personnel on technical matters

• Attend site meetings and prepare inspection records and reports

• Identify and report non-conformance, site issues, and deviations to the Qualified Person

• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline

• Registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience (viaduct structures, MRT projects or road works)

• Able to work independently and stationed full-time on site (EAST)
