Your impact

We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer to be work on Bedok First Subsidiary Drain (BFSD) Project, located in the Bedok North Area and Bedok Town Park.

Main duties

  • Supervise the execution of the construction works including temporary works for replacement and diversion of canal/drain.
  • Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications; including the emergency repair works of any damages on the existing utilities/services, pipelines, structures, roads, lands, properties or trees, caused by the drain/canal and/or diversion work
  • Monitor the Contractor's progress and performance and maintain proper site records of the works
  • Take photos of the worksite and update the Client with proper labels through email / WhatsApp on a daily basis
  • Inspect/supervise diversion and/or replacement works on a full-time basis progressively at worksite including night work supervision and supervision on weekends and public holidays, as and when required
  • Verifying contractors CCTV live video feeds and inspection reports
  • Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation, e.g. attendance records of PM, RTO, STO, Professional Engineers, and contractor's site personnel
  • Keep records of diary, record books, schedule of works, records of inspection/checklists and approvals for concreting, test records, and test

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess

  • RTO registration with BCA/IES with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supervision of infrastructural works in Singapore.
  • Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognised and acceptable by Commissioner of Building Control.
  • Mandatory safety training course, Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course or equivalent conducted by an MOM approved training provider

Other information

  • Working location Bedok First Subsidiary Drain (Bedok North area, Bedok Town Park)
  • 44 working hours (5.5 days) per week
  • 24 months fixed term (subject to renewal)
