Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily site inspections and supervision of Civil & Structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and relevant BCA regulations.
  • Monitor construction quality, workmanship, materials, and site safety practices to ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Maintain and update site records, inspection reports, quality documentation, and other project-related documents.
  • Attend site meetings, coordinate inspections, testing activities, and liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
  • Monitor and ensure prompt rectification of defects, non-conformities, and outstanding works.
  • Report any non-compliance, deviations, or quality issues to the Qualified Person (QP) and Resident Engineer (RE) for appropriate action.
  • Assist in ensuring that construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved methodologies and statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and/or Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
  • Min Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supervision of Civil & Structural construction works.
  • Good knowledge of BCA regulations, Singapore Standards, and statutory authority requirements.
  • Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively under tight project deadlines.
  • Experience in HDB, commercial, institutional, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be added advantage.
  • Must be willing work night shifts.
