Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure works are executed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) in accordance with the requirements stipulated by BCA.
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, method statements, work schedules, and site instructions.
Review construction drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and promptly report to the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for necessary action.
Inspect materials delivered to site and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards initiate and follow up on corrective actions for any non-conformance.
Monitor and verify that all structural and critical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and relevant codes of practice.
Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) and Qualified Person (QP) in ensuring works meet regulatory and project requirements.
Attend and actively participate in site meetings, including progress, coordination, variation, and QA/QC meetings, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Maintain proper site documentation, including daily site records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations at all times.
Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or equivalent qualification.
Registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with a valid practicing certificate.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably with projects under LTA, HDB, DSTA, or CAG.
Good knowledge of local construction practices, codes, and authority requirements.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on shift schedules, including night shifts and rotational Sunday duties.
