Resident Technical Officer # C&S Jurong Island

About the role

• Site-based supervision of all C&S works for the substation project at Tembusu Crescent, Jurong Island, ensuring structural integrity and constructability.

• Full-time position on a 2year project working hours are 0800-1700, Monday to Saturday, with 0800-1200 on selected days as required by site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate C&S construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

• Monitor contractors work progress, identify and resolve site issues promptly, and provide technical guidance to the project team and stakeholders.

• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements and material submissions prepare site reports and support inspections, testing and audits.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a construction-related discipline, meeting IES/ACES RTO registration criteria.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in C&S site supervision for building or infrastructure projects, preferably in substation or industrial developments.

• Registered with IES as a C&S RTO safety-related certifications (e.g. BCSS or equivalent) will be an advantage.

• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors and authorities in a team environment.
