RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER C&S/ARCHI

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise civil and structural works in accordance with BCA standards, specifications, approved drawings, and prevailing statutory requirements.

• Perform duties under the direction of the appointed Qualified Person(s) (QP), ensuring full compliance with HDB project requirements and site instructions.

• Monitor construction progress and workmanship quality, ensuring compliance with approved method statements.

• Conduct regular site inspections and witness required tests for materials and workmanship in accordance with BCA Standards.

• Identify, report, and coordinate the resolution of non-conformities, design discrepancies, and site issues with QP and relevant stakeholders.

• Attend site coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.

• Prepare progress reports, quality reports, and non-compliance records for submission to the QP and client.
  
  Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.

  • Accredited Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with IES or ACES.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant RTO experience, preferably in HDB, LTA and commercial projects.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.

  • Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and professional ethics.
