Assist the Resident Engineer on-site in supervising and inspecting construction works to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements.
Collaborate closely with C&S QP, Resident Engineer, other Resident Technical Officers, and contractors to resolve site issues and ensure timely project completion.
Implement and maintain site supervision quality and safety assurance systems.
Supervise structural and geotechnical works, identifying any non-conformities in contractor performance.
Monitor project schedules and maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain and update comprehensive site records, including project progress, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built submissions.
Review and verify method statements and drawings, including authority submissions and shop drawings.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure contractor compliance with health and safety regulations (MOM).
Inspect and supervise architectural works and verify the quality of finishing materials delivered to site.
Requirements
Recognized Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering, eligible for registration with IES/ACES.
Accredited with IES/ACES and holding a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate (RTO).
