Provide comprehensive site supervision for all architectural and interior design works.
Review all drawings and specifications to ensure site execution is carried out in accordance with the approved plans/ drawings and specifications.
Assist the Architect/Designer in site supervision and facilitate seamless coordination with other consultants site staff. Highlighting discrepancies, providing feedback on site progress, safety, and non-conformances to the Consultants and Client.
Conduct quality control checks of all architectural finishing works, including the inspection of materials, finishes, and workmanship standards.
Proactively highlight discrepancies, safety concerns, and non-conformances to the Consultants and the Employer.
Provide formal weekly reports summarizing site activities, identified issues, proposed corrective actions, and the status of implemented solutions.
Attend meetings at the Client's office or on-site to address technical matters and project-related concerns as necessary.
Perform necessary material tests and highlight any deviations during joint testing, commissioning, and inspections to ensure a smooth transition to operational occupancy.
Assist the Architect/ Designer in carrying out supervision works on site and assist in supervising & coordination with other consultants site staff.
Assist in reviewing the Contractor's method statements and ensure works proceed according to these approved procedures.
Maintain and submit detailed daily site records, including work progress, site instructions, material deliveries, manpower counts, weather conditions, visitor logs, and any other significant information.
Attend site coordination meetings as directed to manage day-to-day operational issues.
Familiarize with project nuances to facilitate the resolution of post-construction defects and address user feedback during the handover phase.
Prepare comprehensive defect snagging lists, monitor the progress of rectification works, and verify that all defects are satisfactorily resolved
Ensure all contractor activities and installations comply with prevailing statutory requirements and local building codes.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of site supervision experience across a diverse range of developments.
Valid accreditation with the IES (Institute of Engineers Singapore) is highly advantageous.
Track record in supervising Additions & Alterations (A&A) works within institutional buildings, including the oversight of demolition and new structural construction.
Prior experience in managing Architectural and Interior Design (ID) fit-out works.
Must be able to perform night work and oversee site activities outside of standard operating hours.
Expected Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour break)
