RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (ARCHITECTURAL)

As a Resident Technical Officer (Architectural), you will be responsible for overseeing all architectural aspects of assigned project from inception through completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise with the architectural work experience at site, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general site supervision and organize site meetings
  • Work with contractors and builders of various trades to coordinate and issue work orders on site
  • Assist the Architectural Design Team in implementing required design changes and updates
  • Organize, manage and administer all site matters on a day-to-day basis and coordinate design details in collaboration with consultants of various disciplines
  • Keep and maintain proper and updated site records on work progress
  • Undertake any other duties related to the project when instructed

Requirements & Attributes:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in supervising architectural, preferably in Rail/MRT projects
  • Sound knowledge of architectural detailing, finishing, working/shop drawings, local construction practices and be conversant with local building codes and regulations
  • Good interpersonal and supervisory skills and the ability to work with site staff. Willing to accept a 6 months contract
  • Duration of Contract: Immediate till August 2028
