About the Role

As a Resident Physician, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care under the guidance of Consultant Psychiatrists. You will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred care to a diverse patient population.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management across care settings
• Manage a broad range of conditions including mood, psychotic, and anxiety disorders
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and complex presentations
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists)
• Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and care planning
• Contribute to quality improvement, audits, and departmental initiatives
• Engage patients and families with clear communication and psychoeducation

What You Bring

• MBBS (or equivalent) with at least 3 years experience as a Medical Officer
• Active clinical practice in psychiatry or a related field
• Eligible for or fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Psychiatry are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centred approach
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment
