Resident Physician

Qualifications :

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or postgraduate medical qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).

Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience.

• Experience in outpatient and/or inpatient clinical settings.

• Exposure to preventive health, health screening, occupational health, vaccinations, or chronic disease follow‑up is advantageous.

Special Attributes and Knowledge :

• Strong interest in preventive medicine, population health and evidence‑based screening programmes.

• Competent in clinical history taking, physical examination, diagnosis formulation, management planning and follow‑up care.

• Ability to apply evidence‑based clinical guidelines to determine appropriate care pathways, including step‑up or step‑down of care.

• Good understanding of Singapore's healthcare ecosystem, including community, primary and hospital care.

• Effective communicator with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Familiarity with NGEMR is an advantage.
