The doctor will be part of the Geriatric Medicine team. He/She will provide first-line clinical coverage, handle more complex cases, and guide the junior doctors accordingly with his/her broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services. He/She will assist in running clinics, as well as assist in carrying out procedures and/or operations as permitted by the senior doctors.
The Doctor Must
- be in active clinical practice;
- have a basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school;
- recognized postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MRCP) would be an added advantage;
- have at least 3 years of post housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field/specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant/ field/specialty
- have been registered as a medical practitioner with the Singapore Medical Council
