Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced engineering design, modelling and simulation work using specialised software platforms.
• Oversee multi-phase project lifecycle including feasibility studies, technical evaluation, risk assessment and performance optimisation.
• Develop and implement complex engineering methodologies and technical frameworks for system integration.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, structural diagnostics and technical audits for large-scale engineering assets.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, compliance documentation and technical validation papers for regulatory submission.
• Collaborate with international teams, vendors and external technical authorities to coordinate cross-border project requirements.
• Drive innovation, workflow automation and advanced engineering solutions within the organisation.
• Provide expert-level engineering consultancy on specialised systems, equipment or processes requiring niche domain knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience in a specialised engineering domain.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong proficiency in advanced simulation tools, modelling frameworks and engineering computation platforms.
• Experience with international engineering standards, certification protocols and cross-border project submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-complexity technical investigations and produce technical reports at authoritative level.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical presentation at executive and regulatory level.
