Project-Specific Scope:
Reporting to the SRE (M&E), the RE will execute daily technical inspections, verify equipment drop-ins, and manage sub-contractor progress for the APM equipment, IT facility services, and dormitory utilities.
Qualification Requirements: (M&E)
Registered with the relevant Professional Board and possess accreditation recognized by the Employer. Relevant qualifications and professional certifications acceptable to the Employer shall be required.
Possess a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry Course (BizSafe Level 2) or equivalent recognized safety qualification.
Conversant with statutory codes, authority requirements, and industry standards relating to Mechanical and Electrical works, including site supervision, quality assurance and quality control procedures, safety and health management, contract administration, and progress reporting.
Possess strong technical knowledge in M&E systems and services with the ability to analyze, manage, and resolve site technical issues effectively and promptly.
Demonstrate strong supervision, coordination, and leadership skills in managing M&E works and interfacing with civil, architectural, and specialist contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure that M&E works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, statutory requirements, and contract requirements, and witness testing and commissioning activities where necessary.
Monitor construction progress and coordinate with contractors and relevant authorities to ensure timely completion of M&E installations and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Possess sound knowledge of M&E systems such as ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, ELV, Communication Systems, and Building Management Systems relevant to the project.
Job Description: RE (M&E)
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer, has experience in supervision of works for projects of similar scale and complexity, particularly major building construction works, utilities laying, systems integration and testing and commissioning.
Prior exposure to airside environments and requirements is preferred
Possess a Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree recognized by the PEB of Singapore.
