Responsibilities
- Lead the Resident Technical Officer (RTO) team to monitor, supervise, and inspect civil and structural works on industrial building projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications as directed by QP(S) and SRE
- Apply expertise in statutory codes and site supervision requirements to enforce quality control procedures and construction administration
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation of project status and issues
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to maintain organisational efficiency and foster positive interpersonal relationships on site
- Adapt to shift work schedules to maintain continuous project oversight and timely issue resolution
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil and structural engineer, including at least two (2) years supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly industrial buildings
- Hold a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Maintain accreditation with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
