RESIDENT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
• Report to C&S QP, work closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects.
• Carry out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.
• Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
• Manage the site supervisors with respect to civil and structural engineering works.
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in C&S Engineering from an University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Registered Resident Engineer (with BCA / IES / ACES)
• Precast, Post-tensioning and Steel Structure Works experiences are preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.
• Strong knowledge of structural materials, details, shop drawings and local construction practices, strong in coordination skill among architect/C&S/M&E works.
• Basic knowledge of Architectural and M&E details and construction works on site
