Resident Engineer

Workunder the direction of the appropriate Qualified Person when carry out theirsupervision and fully responsible to the appropriate QP.

.To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.

.To assist QP on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings

.To monitor the progress and assist QP on structural inspection on allStructural works according to the approved drawings issued.

.To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to thecontract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method ofstatements

.To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for theconstruction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Projectspecifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.

.To be overall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staffor Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site so thatthey can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of theirwork and performance.

.To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keepingand submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attendingmeetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in theco-ordination of Contractor's works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:

. RE registration with IES is mandatory

. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

. Have at least 4 years of experience in site supervision of works

. Min 2 years of experience in infrastructure supervision.

. Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes

. Possess good co-ordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
