Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, project specific and statutory requirements. The role involves coordinating with project stakeholders, resolving technical and site issues, monitoring construction progress and ensuring timely delivery through effective site supervision and documentation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish minimum standards of workmanship and ensure they are maintained.
- Inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with the design intent, approved submission drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
- Identify and assist in the resolution of site coordination issues with project stakeholders.
- Prepare, issue and track non-conformances.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITP's), method statements and work methodology submittals.
- Have a solid understanding of construction QA/QC processes.
- Maintain accurate site records.
- Assist in the preparation or progress reports.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and workshops.
- Attend factory inspections, including overseas assignments, as and when required by the project.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Ideally registered with the Board of Architects Singapore as a Registered Architect.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant site-based experience in architectural works and site coordination.
- Large-scale project experience including integrated resorts, hotels, retail and mixed-use developments.
- Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes, and construction practices.
- Experience with QA/ QC processes, site inspections, ITP's, technical submissions, and construction supervision.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely site decisions.
- Able to meet the mobility requirements of a site-based role, including regular inspections across active construction areas.
- Proficiency with Aconex and / or other digital project management/ document control systems.
- Willing to work on a alternate 5.5-day work week and travel overseas, when required.
- 2 Years Contract (Renewable)
