To carry out in vitro research on tocotrienols/phytonutrients/oleochemicals for various human health applications
To conduct human clinical trials with institutions
Publish scientific manuscripts in international journals
Work closely with fellow researchers in the R&D for effective project implementation
Make presentation on projects within and outside the company
Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
Perform inventory update for laboratory consumables and trial materials
Perform general maintenance of the lab facilities
To build up in-house database of research results of tocotrienols and other necessary products
Any other tasks/projects as assigned to you by the Head of Biological Research from time to time.
Job Success Requirements
B.Sc or Master in Biology/Biological Sciences/Biomedical Sciences or equivalents with at least 3 to 5 years working experience
Have extensive bench work experience in biological research in mammalian cell culture, genomic & proteomic analysis. The lab techniques require including qPCR, cDNA microarray, western blotting, ELISA assay, flow cytometry, fluorescence imaging
Preferably the candidate has knowledge and prior experience in clinical trial management and coordination
Proven publication record in international scientific peer-reviewed journals
Excellent problem-solving skills and uses data to generate ideas and develop solutions
Have thorough understanding & fundamental concepts in biology and pharmacology for experimental troubleshooting & optimization
Be highly motivate, independent and present strong interest in a fast-paced environment
Competent in Microsoft Office, bibliography software (Endnote or Mendeley), GraphPad Prism, SPSS or other analytical tools.
