RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
- Designing a robust verifiable distributed aggregation function against malicious stakeholders.
- Extending the robust design to additionally support differential privacy.
- Implementing a proof-of-concept prototype of the system.
- Performing security and efficiency analysis for the developed system.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in cryptography and differential privacy.
- Proficiency in cryptographic scheme implementation is required.
- Proven track record and research experience in privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of multi-party computation and differential privacy.
- Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Applicants with research publications in top cybersecurity conferences will be advantageous.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
