RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Centre for Research on Intelligent Software Engineering (RISE).
- Design methods for secure and private data collection and sharing for large model training.
- Design methods for security analysis and verification of shared data and models.
- Develop tools for data processing, LLM training and security evaluation.
- Write research papers.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in AI security, data privacy or machine learning.
- High-quality publications in top-tier software engineering/security/AI journals or conferences.
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as python and Pytorch will be positively considered/ is required.
- Proven track record and professional experience in data security, privacy protection and LLM training and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on data collection and sharing, LLM training and security analysis.
- Excellent working knowledge of machine learning, trustworthy AI and data security.
- Technical skills in LLM training, data analysis and security analysis.
- Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Applicants with research publications in AI security, data privacy and software engineering area will be advantageous.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
