Job Description

A research officer position is available in Tan Yee Joos lab to work on diagnostic assay development. He/she is required to work closely with fellow lab members and collaborators in a joint grant.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Biomedical Science or related fields
  • Highly experienced in common biochemical techniques including PCR, cloning, real-time PCR, ELISA, Western blot and immunofluorescence assays
  • Highly experienced in mammalian cell culture methodologies
  • Highly experienced in protein purification techniques including the use of FPLC
  • Have at least 2 years of research experience
  • Be able to work in a team and conduct independent research with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
