Research Officer

Position Overview

NanyangBiologics is a biotechnology company at the forefront of AI-driven drug discovery. We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Project Officer to support our research collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Reporting directly to the CSO, you will be responsible for executing in vivo studies that are critical to the advancement of our lead therapeutic candidates.
Key Responsibilities

Experimental Execution: Conduct daily animal handling, monitoring, and administration of compounds via various routes (IV, IP, PO, SC).

Technical Procedures: Perform high-precision sampling, including blood collection, necropsies, and tissue harvesting for downstream molecular analysis.

Data Management: Maintain comprehensive and accurate experimental records provide direct updates and data summaries to the CSO.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to RCULA standards and IACUC protocols at the NTU vivarium.

Facility Liaison: Coordinate animal orders and logistics between the NYB team and the NTU Animal Research Facility.

Requirements

Education: . Minimum: Diploma in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Bioscience from a local Singapore Polytechnic

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Certification: RCULA (Responsible Care and Use of Laboratory Animals) certification is highly preferred.

Experience: . Proven hands-on experience in rodent handling and in vivo experimental techniques.

Familiarity with oncology models or drug efficacy studies is an advantage.

Competencies: Strong attention to detail, ethical commitment to animal welfare, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment.
