To be stationed in our newly created Research & Innovation Center, we're looking for passionate individuals who are eager to drive sustainable innovation in the seafood industry, with a strong interest in exploring science-based approaches to unlock new opportunities in fish value maximization. We offer up to 6 months internship opportunity starting immediately.
The intern may be required to carry out all or some of the following key tasks:
- Conduct market research on sustainable seafood market trends.
- Identify and map potential partners and eco-conscious buyers.
- Assist in business analysis of value-added product cases from tuna by-products.
- Assist in preparing grant proposals and funding applications.
- Support stakeholder engagement and sustainability communications.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Sustainability, or related fields in a reputable university in Singapore.
- Strong research and analytical skills to assess market trends, sustainability benchmarks, and value chain opportunities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement, report writing, and presentations.
- Project coordination abilities to support multi-stakeholder initiatives and BD activities.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and etc.
- Basic understanding of sustainability frameworks (e.g., circular economy) is a plus.
