Job Description

One Research Fellow position is currently available in the Department of Statistics and Data Science, National University of Singapore. The successful candidate will work with Prof Zhou Wang on random matrix theory under a project on Toward robustness against distribution shift in the open environment.

The main responsibilities of the position include to develop random matrix theory, especially for sample covariance matrices. Candidate with strong background in probability and machine learning would be a plus.

Qualifications / Discipline:
. The candidate should have a PhD degree in Statistics or related area.

Skills:
. The applicant is expected to develop random matrix theory, especially for sample covariance matrices.

Experience:
. The candidate should have research experience of 2 - 3 years.
