We are looking for a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow (Wireless Localization & Sensing) to conduct experimentally driven research on radio-based localization, tracking, and sensing for future 6G communication and Internet-of-Things systems. The Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow will develop localization and sensing algorithms, implement them on real hardware platforms, design and conduct measurement campaigns, and build demonstrable prototypes in realistic indoor environments. The Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator and collaborators/students across NTU Singapore to deliver high-quality research, experimental testbeds, reusable datasets and software, peer-reviewed publications, intellectual property, and follow-on research proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct original research on wireless localization, tracking, and sensing techniques, with a strong emphasis on practical implementation and experimental validation.
Identify potentially patentable research outcomes and fill in patent application forms.
Write and publish high-quality research papers.
Assist in the preparation and writing of research grant proposals.
Co-supervise undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Job Requirements:
PhD in electrical and electronic engineering, communication engineering, signal processing, radar engineering, remote sensing, or related discipline.
Strong publication record and hands-on experience in one of the following areas: wireless localization, wireless sensing, AI/machine learning for communications, or signal processing.
Ability to conduct experimental research independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good written and oral communication skills in English- essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
