The goal is to create a biocompatible, safe, and effective coating that can prevent unintentional perioperative hypothermia in anesthetized patients. The work involves materials design, synthesis, characterization, and integration with clinical requirements.
. PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
. Strong background in hydrogels, hygroscopic materials, polymers, sorbents, or thermal materials
. Experience with materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, FTIR, DSC, TGA, XRD)
. Experience in exothermic or sorption driven thermal systems is an advantage
