Job Description
A postdoc position is available in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National University of Singapore. This role involves electrochemical characterizations of water-soluble redox-active molecules and evaluate their electrochemical performance in aqueous organic flow batteries and electrochemical CO2 capture systems.
Qualifications
A PhD in Organic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in organic chemistry and electrochemistry.
- Hands-on experience with electrochemical characterizations.
- Experience in analytical and characterization techniques.
- Ability to independently design, conduct, and troubleshoot experiments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with aqueous electrochemistry and flow batteries.
- Ability to supervise students
- Good laboratory safety awareness
- A good publication record
