The successful candidate will have to scale up the methodology of laser printing single photon emitters in graphene/hBN heterostructures. The candidate will have to develop machine learning methodology that solves a multidimensional problem of linking printing parameters (wavelength, power and exposure time) with key performance indicators of quantum emitters, including their brightness, reproducibility of emission wavelength, and purity of quantum emission.
PhD degree in materials science or physics and proven track record of expertise in the domain of quantum emitters in 2D materials
