The Research Fellow (Innovation and Leadership) will lead education and translational research in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture development, with a focus on Singapore and the broader Asian context.
The role will contribute to strengthening IDEL's thought leadership by generating evidence-based insights, developing high-quality teaching resources, and supporting curriculum innovation, while providing research and programme support for IDEL initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
. Lead and conduct education research in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture translation
. Develop case libraries, including Singapore- and Asia-focused case studies on startups, innovation ecosystems, and leadership practices
. Design and implement impact metrics to evaluate innovation programmes and outcomes
. Create interactive and experiential learning materials to enhance pedagogy in executive and academic programmes
. Conduct translational research on CDE startups, technologies, and innovation ecosystems
. Collaborate with faculty to integrate research insights into curriculum design and delivery
. Publish research outputs, reports, and thought leadership pieces to strengthen IDEL's regional and global profile
. Support grant applications and research initiatives aligned with IDEL's strategic priorities
. PhD in a relevant discipline or MBA
. Demonstrated research experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or related areas
. Strong track record in academic writing, case development, or applied research
. Experience in curriculum development or educational research is advantageous
. Familiarity with startup ecosystems, venture building, or technology translation is preferred
. Open to Fixed Term Contract
