The successful candidate will work with
Dr Lu Yuyun on
Microalgae biomass/protein processing and novel food development under a project on
Alternative Protein funded by SFA.
The Main Responsibilities Of The Position Include
- Lab-related experiments (e.g., mechanical and enzymatic treatments, fermentation, prototype samples formulation, interaction of proteins and flavour compounds)
- Analysis of collected data
- Progress report preparation
- Manuscripts preparation
- Provide mentorship
- Grant proposal writing
Qualifications
- PhD Degree
- Food science background
- Having microalgae (biomass/protein) processing background is preferred
- Having microorganism fermentation background is preferred
- Having good analytical skill
- Having good scientific writing skill
- Having good leadership
- Having good organization and time management skill
