About the Dementia Research Centre (Singapore)

The Dementia Research Centre (Singapore) (DRCS) is a leading research hub at LKCMedicine, NTU, dedicated to advancing early detection, risk stratification, and precision interventions for neurocognitive disorders. Our centre integrates digital cognitive assessments, AI-driven biomarkers, multi-omics, and neuroimaging to develop scalable solutions for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Vascular Cognitive Impairment (VCI), dementia prevention, and brain health optimisation.

We collaborate closely with clinical partners across Singapore and Southeast Asia, working on multi-country studies, digital biomarker development, and clinical validation of novel technologies that transform cognitive healthcare.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow (Digital Health) to join our team and contribute to innovative projects at the intersection of neuroscience, AI, mobile health, digital cognitive assessments, and precision medicine.

What You'll Do
  • Lead digital product development and research
  • Build ML/statistical models using digital, clinical, imaging & biomarker datasets
  • Support multi-site clinical studies (protocols, recruitment, data quality, IRB)
  • Publish in high-impact journals & contribute to grants
  • Collaborate with tech teams to validate and develop digital tools

What We're Looking For
  • PhD in Neuroscience / Psych / Biomed Eng / CS / Data Science or related
  • Strong skills in R/Python + data analysis
  • Experience in digital health, cognitive neuroscience, or biomedical data
  • Good publication record and ability to work independently
  • Bonus: MRI/EEG/fNIRS experience, machine learning pipelines, digital phenotyping, or clinical coordination experience.
