Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to conduct applied research on advanced waterproofing and durability-enhancing coatings for concrete infrastructure. The successful candidate will design and evaluate novel coating materials, perform laboratory, and field testing, investigate coating–substrate interactions, and assess long-term durability under various environmental exposures. Responsibilities include experimental planning, data analysis, technical reporting, publication of research findings, and collaboration with industry partners.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience in concrete materials, waterproofing systems, polymeric or cementitious coatings, durability assessment, and laboratory testing is preferred.
- The applicant should have a strong publication record and demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
- Experience with material characterization techniques, data analysis, and technical report writing is desirable.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Value teamwork.
- Good project management skills are essential for collaboration with academic and industry partners.
- Open to fixed-term contract.
