Research Fellow (Centre for Multilateralism Studies)

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia-Pacific region.

RSIS invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the Centre for Multilateralism Studies (CMS). The successful applicant will be expected to investigate the impacts of heightened geopolitical competition on (1) economic and trade multilateralism, (2) security cooperation in ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific, and (3) the geoeconomic nexus between these issues. This includes writing academic articles, policy reports, and commentaries, as well as contributing towards the Centre's courses, events, capacity-building, and networking activities. The successful applicant will also assist in organising conferences and seminars, contribute towards the programme's networking activities and assist with administrative work as required.

The successful candidate should:

• Possess a PhD degree in international political economy, international relations, political science, economics, or related disciplines or those with relevant working experience in diplomacy, international relations or international organisations with a strong research track record may also be considered and
• Possess good writing and research skills with an aptitude and interest for in-depth research in the relevant field.
