We are currently accepting applications for the position of Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to our research in advanced 2D TMDC material. As a Research Fellow, you will contribute to the development, integration, and characterization of 2D TMDC materials for optical and photonic applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of researchers and engineers on cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-quality, wafer-scale synthesis and deposition processes for 2D TMDC materials and their heterostructure.
- Conduct fundamental research on charge transport mechanisms, exciton and Trion physics, and heterostructure properties in 2D TMDC.
- Perform comprehensive electrical and optical characterization of devices using advanced measurement techniques.
- Apply device physics principles to perform in-depth analysis and interpretation of experimental results.
- Design and implement integration processes for 2D TMDC materials for integrated photonic and optoelectronic platforms.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members and external partners to address research challenges and develop innovative solutions.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with a stimulating research environment and access to state-of-the-art facilities. This is a full-time position with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with potential for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Qualifications
- PhD Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience and expertise in working with 2D TMDC materials.
- Proficient in advanced electrical and optical characterization techniques and semiconductor device physics.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with process integration in cleanroom environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate research findings.
- Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively within a research-oriented environment.
