CINTRA is a French-Singaporean joint research laboratory, a CNRS International Research Laboratory under the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is a collaboration between the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Thales, bringing together researchers and students from France and Singapore. The research focus of this joint laboratory is towards the development of innovative nanotechnologies and nanomaterials for various electronic and photonic applications.
We are looking for a Research Fellow to prepare and characterize 2D ferroelectric materials and devices. The role will focus on the preparation and fundamental characterization of 2D ferroelectric materials to promote the applications of 2D ferroelectric devices.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D ferroelectric materials.
Characterize the ferroelectric polarization with various methods, such as PFM and P-E loop test.
Confirm the polarization switch with electrical pulses.
Demonstrate reconfigurable photoresponsivity of the samples.
Fabricate and test devices based on 2D ferroelectric materials.
Collect and analyze the result.
Draft manuscript and project reports based on the results.
Mentor undergraduates or master students under this project.
Assist the PI to draft new research proposals.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Electronics, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
At least 2 years of technical hands-on experience in 2D ferroelectric materials characterization and device design and fabrication.
Good publication on 2D ferroelectric materials and devices is necessary.
Familiarity with lithography 2D materials transfer and PFM characterization.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Meticulous and good with data.
