RA & HR Management: Recruit, screen, onboard, and train undergraduate RAs each cycle; coordinate IT access and lab setup; develop and manage RA schedules to ensure full coverage across all sessions; run pre-wave QA sessions and share feedback with researchers.
Lab Setup & Researcher Coordination: Configure SPS each term: create and distribute master surveys to faculty; open wave timeslots; verrfy IRB approvals; solicit studjes from researchers and manage wave deadlines across 6+ data collection waves per year; coordinate with relevant departments in advance to secure lab availability for the full term.
Instructor Coordination & Credit Management: Coordinate with 1 O+ course instructors-each term on student sign-ups and study announcements; develop and tailor lab-related informational materials to meet the specific needs of each course; reconcile 4,000 student credit entries per term; resolve discrepancies and process alternate assignment credits.
Budget & Reporting: Lead the annual budget cycle; prepare and present term-end lab usage reports to the Marketing group; run BLAB departmental meetings.
Daily Lab Operations: Oversee all communications for BLAB; prepare each lab session by ensuring IT readiness, coordinating technical support when needed, and maintaining a clean and functional lab environment; process participant cancellations and rescheduling in SPS; respond to student and researcher queries: provide on-call RA support during all data collection sessions; troubleshoot SPS and study issues, serve as backup study runner when needed.
