Research Engineer (Senior/Lead), DMD/SVS, ARTC

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Research Engineer to design and implement AI-enabled solutions that support manufacturing planning, scheduling, and inventory analytics. You will work on building backend services, data pipelines, and APIs that connect AI systems with manufacturing platforms to enable smarter, data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

.Lead the development and integration of applications for production planning, scheduling, and inventory optimization.

.Design backend services and APIs to support planning and analytics workflows.

.Orchestrate multiple AI-driven agents for collaborative task execution in manufacturing systems.

.Connect AI applications with external manufacturing platforms and enterprise tools.

.Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy models into production.

.Build scalable backend systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

.Support CI/CD pipelines and maintain production/staging environments.

.Contribute to evolving AI-based decision support platforms for manufacturing operations.

Requirements

.Bachelor's degree in AI, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.

.Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on enterprise systems.

.Experience with microservices (C# .NET, Python) and using Angular.

.Familiarity with AI-driven planning, scheduling, or inventory analytics.

.Knowledge of agent-based systems or multi-agent coordination.

.Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).

.Exposure to AI/ML model integration in production.

.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

.Positive, proactive attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
