Morgan McKinley is hiring for a skilled Research Engineer to join our team on a12-month contract basis with a potential conversion to perm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a research engineer, focusing on executing engineering tasks to advance superintelligence through supersensing innovations.
- Develop and implement new algorithms, functionalities, and architectures across various modalities (e.g., CV, NLP, embodied AI) to enhance data curation, modeling, and research tools.
- Collaborate closely with research teams and partners to transform research ideas into scalable solutions and integrate them into our platforms.
- Support the development of large-scale foundation data and models, ensuring high quality and diversity to push the boundaries of superintelligence research.
- Contribute to publication efforts by translating research findings into impactful research outcomes and sharing advancements with the broader community
Qualifications:
- 0-4 years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, or data research, with the ability to independently implement and engineer advanced AI systems on cloud infrastructure
- Experience in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, LLMs, Machine Learning, or AI, with a background in developing computer vision algorithms and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Rust, and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related technical field; MSc or PhD preferred.
- Additional experience in distributed systems, 3D reconstruction, depth sensing, or image/video generation is a plus.
