This position focuses on the development of multi-agent artificial intelligence systems with specialized medical intelligence for future embodiment within humanoid robotic platforms. The research forms part of an interdisciplinary programme integrating medical AI, robotics, embodied intelligence, and human-robot interaction for next-generation healthcare technologies.
The successful candidate will be required to:
. Support the design, development, and evaluation of multi-agent AI models and intelligent agent architectures.
. Develop specialized medical knowledge and memory-layer frameworks for embodied AI systems.
. Contribute to the development of AI-enabled humanoid robotic intelligence for healthcare-related applications.
. Support UI/UX development for human-AI and human-robot interaction systems.
. Perform system integration, testing, and evaluation across software and robotic platforms.
. Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers in AI, robotics, biomedical engineering, and healthcare technologies.
. Possess a BEng in Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
. Research experience in AI model development, memory-layer architectures, large language models, agentic AI systems, or embodied intelligence is preferred.
. Prior experience with robotics, humanoid systems, or robotic system integration is advantageous.
. Experience in UI/UX development, software prototyping, or interactive system design is beneficial.
. Strong programming and system integration skills are preferred.
. Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary research team.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Open to fixed-term contract.
