About the role

You'll lead concept development and validation for future technologies, working across electronics, sensors, and mechanical systems. This role involves hands-on design, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.

• Design electronic hardware (connectivity, embedded systems, sensors) including schematic design, PCB layout, and commissioning.
• Identify and evaluate sensors, conduct feasibility studies, and validate concepts through simulations and lab testing.
• Build prototypes and custom test rigs develop test methods for performance validation.
• Analyze data, propose algorithms, and communicate technical insights.
• Design mechanical systems using CAD and simulation tools.
• Collaborate with innovation teams, research, and suppliers to integrate emerging technologies.
• Present findings, manage risks (FMEA), and produce technical documentation.

About you

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field with relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on expertise in hardware design, sensor integration, PCB design, and embedded platforms.
• Skills in simulation, prototyping, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and/or C++.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Curious, inventive, and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, machine learning, signal processing, microcontrollers, and PLM systems.
