Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on Generative Agents for pre-assessment evaluation. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Associate Prof LO Siaw Ling from School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), Singapore Management University (SMU).
Candidate's Core Responsibilities Are
- Conduct research in the generative agents area.
- Develop, design and implement research prototypes and test-bed systems to achieve project requirements and targets.
- Manage development environment, including versioning, APIs cost handling.
- Showcase the work at events or conferences.
- Assist other researchers to collect and extract relevant data for research purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from an institution of higher learning.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Human-Computer Interaction, or natural language processing (NLP).
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python, Java will be required.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on conducting research, particularly in the area of LLMs, Agentic AI, Human-Computer Interaction, or NLP, will be a plus.
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
