This internship offers an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science or Software Engineering student to gain hands-on experience in software development, testing, and cybersecurity. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cyber Security Research, Kernel, Performance, and QA, while working on real-world projects such as developing telemetry systems and contributing to threat detection software. The position provides valuable exposure to modern development tools, coding best practices, and system monitoring workflows.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the testing, development, and maintenance of software applications
- Contribute to the design and development of a telemetry system and dashboard to visualize key trends
- Collaborate with team members on coding tasks and project planning
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in codebases
- Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups
- Research new tools and technologies as needed
What You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of C/C++ programming language
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and JavaScript is a plus
- Solid understanding of software development concepts (e.g., OOP, version control)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
